*ZDaemon v1.0504e by Kilgore. "ZDaemon is a free, open-source port of DOOM. It's designed to provide a multiplayer, internet gaming environment. All you need to be able to play ZDaemon is this package, a computer and an internet connection. To be able to play, you must have one of the supported DOOM WAD files. This package includes the shareware DOOM(1).WAD for your convenience."

*ZLauncher v1.0505 by Kilgore. This is an updated version of ZLauncher, which comes with ZDaemon. This is a front end for configuring ZDaemon.

*Doom Connector v3.10  by Pascal vd Heiden. "If you ever wanted to play DOOM online, then Doom Connector is your place to be! This lobby-based, online service allows you to play DOOM online using modern engines. Besides playing Doom you can chat, send instant messages, file transfers and keep a list of your buddies. Also shows master server lists of general public servers." DC also updates itself on startup. You'll also need one of the DOOM ports, such as ZDOOM, jDOOM, DOOM Legacy, or ZDaemon.

Miscellaneous Utilities

WADWhat v1.1 by Randall R. Spangler. WADWhat prints which maps are contained in the WAD, tells whether a map can be used single-player, coop, or DM (and the number of DM starts), lists things present in each map at each skill level, calculates a difficulty rating for each map based on the ratio of monsters to ammo, calculates an average brightness of the level,  and prints the number of secrets, triggers, and sectors with nukeage floors.

NOTNUM v1.0 by Alden Bates. This is a simple utility which reads in a WAD file and strips off the unused SideDefs to eliminate the "TEXURENUM FOR NAME NOT FOUND" error which sometimes crops up when using EdMap and other editors.
